Day 24: Santa Barbara – Malibu – 72.1 miles
Day 25: Malibu – Los Angeles International Airport – 30 miles

Total Mileage = 1607.5

The starting point is 1155 Seymour Street in Vancouver.

The finish line is Los Angeles International Airport.

All mileage is approximate, and also all days are approximate and may change as the tour progresses, primarily due to the fact that I may complete the days intended ride quicker than expected and continue on further. I may also not complete intended distances, although the only reasons for this are likely to be weather and repairs... and who knows how many punctures I may get along the way (if anybody is interested I believe there is a sweepstake running on the amount of punctures during the trip!)

The days listed represent days on the bike and do not include rest days, which are likely to be on average every 4th day. So for 25 days of cycling, this is 8 rest days in total, and should mean the complete tour takes 33 days.

Most days will be fairly easy to complete, although I have marked down a toughie of 114 miles from Olympia to Astoria just to make things interesting. Also if the weather is unbearably bad then it may mean an extra rest day, so allowing a total of 7 weeks gives me plenty of time when you throw in the bad weather and any other problems along the way.

Wish me luck!
